One way to make our writing more interesting is to use alliteration. It is a sentence or a group of words that have words which start with the same letter. We wrote some awesome sentences using alliteration. Charlie and Kalayias videoed some for you!
Hi - we are a class of 21 Year 2 and 3 kids from Bradford School in Dunedin. Ms Little is our teacher from Monday to Thursday and then Mrs Mitchell-Bain is our teacher on Fridays. Aren't we lucky?! Two teachers! We hope you enjoy reading our blog to see how much we have been learning.

Colour My World!
We having been playing with and discovering all about colour in Room 4.
We have found out heaps.
Red, Yellow and Blue are primary colours. They are called this because you can't mix any other colour together to make those colours.
We mixed the primary colours together to see what other colours we could make...
red and yellow make orange
red and blue make purple
yellow and blue make green
We looked at some artists paintings to see what colours they were using and if those colours made us feel a certain way. We had heaps of different ideas.
We are going to have a go at creating some artworks ourselves now! Keep an eye out for some fabulous artwork!
