Hi - we are a class of 21 Year 2 and 3 kids from Bradford School in Dunedin. Ms Little is our teacher from Monday to Thursday and then Mrs Mitchell-Bain is our teacher on Fridays. Aren't we lucky?! Two teachers! We hope you enjoy reading our blog to see how much we have been learning.

Blowing Bubbles
Yesterday afternoon Room 4 blew a whole lot of beautiful bubbles!
We were thinking hard about what we already know about bubbles. We then thought even harder about what questions we had about bubbles. Then we had to decide the best way to answer our questions - would we ask a scientist or could we do an experiment to find out?
Why do bubbles not fall down quickly?
Who invented the bubble?
How do you make bubble mixture? Do you add water?
Can you pump up a bubble without popping it?
Why are bubbles colourful?
What was the longest time a bubble has not popped?

How did you get on with all your bubble questions? Were you able to answer any of them by doing an experiment? By the look of the photos you were able to answer some of them. What a lovely sunny day it was when you were doing this.
